Adding a Skill from the Progression Library

This article covers what the Progression Library is and how to add a Skill from our Library to your team framework or your organisation.

What is the Progression Library?

The Progression Library is a resource for our customers to use to expedite the Framework building process. We've shared Skills, Collections of Skills and Frameworks created by us and our Customers (with their permission) to help you get started without needing to build common Skills from scratch.

You can add Skills, Collections of Skills and Frameworks from our templates and customise these as required.

How to add a Skill from the Progression Library to your organisation:

  1. Using the left side navigation menu, click 'Skills' underneath your organisation's name

  2. From this page, you can view all the Skills currently in use by your organisation

  3. Click 'Add Skills' in the top right hand corner of the screen

  4. From this menu, you can search and scroll through Skills that are included in our Library

  5. When you have found a Skill you want to add to your organisation, click Add. The Skill will then be added to your organisation's list of Skills.

How to add a Skill from the Progression Library to a specific team:

  1. Navigate to the team you want to add a Skill from the Library to

  2. Click the team and then click 'Framework'

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the framework and click 'Add a Skill'

  4. Search the Library for the Skill you want to add — when you find this, click 'Add'

  5. The Skill will appear in the framework, ready for you to add Skill levels to each position where the Skill is applicable.
